Topcon Healthcare Solutions EMEA is part of Topcon Healthcare Corporation. We specialise in providing modern software solutions for eye care (e.g. optical stores, eye clinics). Our primary target is to offer the whole workflow from the clinical device connection to archiving and telemedicine. Our solutions have been designed in cooperation with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent usability and performance. Our customers are optical retailers, clinics and hospitals.

What kind of work is this?

We’re looking for a high-caliber Lead Software Architect to be a key member of our team. You would be responsible for Topcon Harmony which is our main product being distributed globally.

What do you expect from me?

The best match would be proficient in the following skills:

  • Skills to handle complex systems and a self-organised way of working
  • Customer-oriented approach to designing technological solutions
  • Have knowledge in Java Development, Web Frameworks, Single Page applications
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards: DICOM, HL7, FHIR, Rest interfaces
  • Experience in authentication and authorization
  • DevOps skills, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Microservices architecture
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum
  • You have good skills in documentation and can communicate in a clear manner. Good presentation skills are also an asset.
  • Full English proficiency
  • Architectural Road Map planning experience
  • Proven track record of building a modern software architecture for a complex system

Please note that we are an international company. This will mean attending meetings in the evenings on a semi-regular basis.
